The original handrail was made of light oak

and very nicely too, all hand finished

the client wants to see the rails in salmon pink leather

this involves not only a difficult leather trimming process but some delicate carpentry to enlarge all of the corner gaps to accommodate the leather

the client was very pleased with the result

it does help when the job is done by master upholsterer Roger Thompson
